Blended Occupational Health and Safety
Global is now offering our Occupational Health and Safety training in our leading edge “online blended” format. Blended learning provides the best of learning environments. Theory is done online, at the learners convenience, allowing you to choose your pace, your place for learning. Upon successful completion of both the online and in-class training components the learner will earn certification that is equivalent to our traditional in-class programs.
Online Portion of Blended Program
The online Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) course is a self-paced modular computer based training program that allows the learner to enter and exit the program at their convenience. The program is interactive using text and activities that provides multiple reinforcement tools including quizzes to reinforce the learning. The learner is required to complete the practical portion of the training within 90 days of successfully completing the online portion. It is recommended that the learner reviews the material if they attend the in-class training after 14 days of completing the online training.
In-Class Practical Training
The practical in-class sessions for Blended H2S and Other Hazardous Atmospheres, Introduction to Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry, Gas Testing, and Respiratory Protection requires knowledge of the OHS requirements. Significant in-class time is saved when learners have completed the online Blended OHS course.
Upon successful completion of the in-class training students will receive Occupational Health and Satety (OH&S) certification for 3 years.
The practical portion is held at our facility in Strathmore. Once you successfully complete the online portion, you will be able enroll into a practical session, just click on "Start your online training" in your account.
