Hydrate Awareness

This half-day program explains what a hydrate is and how hydrate formation occurs. Emphasis is placed on the prevention and detection of hydrates. Participants are led through CAPP guidelines on hydrate handling, and learn of an actual case incident in which a fatality occurred due to a hydrate.

This program can be easily tailored to incorporate client-specific codes of practice or procedures. As well, it can be delivered as a seminar or a as a competency-based program.

Competencies

Participants are required to complete a written competency check to minimum 70% level in order to obtain a pass mark.

NOTE: If this program is delivered as a seminar, a certificate of attendance will be issued versus a certificate of completion.
